Norway
Following the successful delivery of modular glass lodges for Panorama Glass Lodge in Iceland DMDmodular is now constructing a new glass lodge development in Norway for a partner of the Icelandic investor. This is an individual project, designed exclusively for this partner and their site. The project is planned to grow into a park of up to 40 individual lodges, each built as a single 31 m² module with the same panoramic glazing concept proven in the Icelandic climate.
As with all DMDmodular projects, the lodges are manufactured off-site at the company’s production facility, delivered fully finished and equipped, and installed on site with minimal disruption — an important factor for developments situated in scenic, environmentally sensitive locations.
This project confirms the international scalability of DMDmodular’s glass lodge concept, bringing a successful Icelandic design to a new market through a new investor partnership, while maintaining the same standard of quality, speed, and architectural ambition.

Modular steel-frame construction offers faster delivery, predictable costs, and high build quality. Factory-built hotel modules reduce construction time on site, minimize disruption, and ensure consistent standards, making them ideal for both new hotel developments and extensions.
Yes. Modular steel-frame systems are well suited for hotel extensions, including additional floors or new building wings. The precision of modular construction allows new structures to integrate seamlessly with existing hotels while keeping downtime and on-site disruption to a minimum.
Modular steel-frame hotels can be completed significantly faster than traditional builds because modules are manufactured off-site while groundwork is carried out in parallel. This approach can reduce overall project timelines from years to just a few months, depending on scale.
Yes. Modular steel-frame hotel solutions are designed to meet modern hospitality standards, including room comfort, accessibility, fire safety, and energy efficiency. They are suitable for international hotel projects and can be adapted to local regulations and brand requirements.
