B2C Ordering Process

With DMDmodular your dream home will come true. See our 7 steps to live in your home!

01

Contact with DMD’s team

Upon first contacting DMDmodular’s sales department, the customer will receive a complete set of information from the catalog allowing them to select a house for their planned investment.  Within the SMART LIVING catalog the customer will find products designed as one and two modules, offering space of between 28 m2 to 115 m2 and options of flat, shed or gable roofs. This stage typically takes around a few days, from the contact to the final decision of the house.

02

Detailed offer

Once the customer has selected a suitable product from the catalog, the sales department will then prepare a detailed offer for the chosen house together with possible additional scope.( This process typically takes around 1-2 weeks, depending on the range of the additional scope to estimate.) The additional scope may include the transportation of the house to the plot, on-site assembling of the house as well as additional furniture equipment. The detailed offer includes the following information:

  • Product specification
  • Scope of the work
  • Schedule
  • Payment terms

This process typically takes around 1-2 weeks, depending on the range of the additional scope to estimate.

03

Submit on order

To proceed with the construction process, the customer must place an order for the chosen modular house solution based on an individual offer provided during step 02. Upon agreeing to the offer, the customer is required to sign the agreement and make the initial payment. This payment serves as a commitment to initiate the construction process. The agreement signing process typically takes 2-3 weeks from the acceptance of the offer. Our team ensures a seamless and efficient process to guarantee customer satisfaction.

04

Production process

The average production time is about 8-12 weeks from the date of advance payment by the customer. The off-site manufacturing process includes the finishing of the rooms, facade and roofing. Once the module receives the factory approval from the client (by meeting at the factory or within the virtual inspection) the building is securely packed  to be ready for dispatch. Meanwhile the client should prepare the foundation according to the guidelines from DMDmodular, to be ready for delivery of the building to the site.

05

Transportation

The DMD team will organize transport to the customer’s plot after receiving the module at the factory. Properly packed house will be transported to the final destination. The average time required for a logistic organization is between 1-4 weeks, depending on the location and the type of the transportation (road transportation, road transportation combined with sea transportation).

06

Installation

The DMD team will organize installation of the house at the customer’s plot. The average time required for the on-site assembling is a few hours, depending on the type of the house selected from the catalog. The process of installation is simple and might be also organized individually by the customer, following the modular installation manual provided by DMDmodular.

07

Handover of the House

After the modular house is installed, the customer will be required to sign the final protocol to confirm the completion of the project. Once this is done, the customer will have access to a fully finished and functional house that is ready for immediate use. With our efficient and high-quality construction process, customers can move into their dream home on the same day it is installed.
