A multifamily municipal building in Mysłowice has been awarded in the ‘Sustainable Product of the Year’ category by the Polish Green Building and Construction Council in the 2023 Green Building Awards. This recognition is a testament to our dedication and commitment to developing sustainable solutions in the construction sector. Notably, the project in Mysłowice stands out as the first multifamily modular building in the European Union that produces more energy than its actual demand!
The award-winning project results from the ‘Energy and Process Efficient Construction’ initiative implemented by the NCBR National Research and Development Center, financed by European Funds under the Intelligent Development Program. The multifamily energy-efficient building was developed as part of the R&D efforts led by the DMD-M Consortium, which includes DMD Modular p.s.a. as the consortium leader and the Krakow University of Technology.
The award was received by Ms. Ewelina Woźniak-Szpakiewicz, CEO of DMDmodular, along with Ms. Barbara Rzepkowska and Ms. Filomena Kowalska, representing NCBR.
