What is the standard size of your modules?
We do not have a standard size module as all modules are customised to suit each design. Typically a module can range in from 2.3m to 3.0m in width and from 6m to 12.0m in length (what is related to the transportation limits) but the size can be also wider (more then 3 meters). Modules that fit within the transportation dimensions enable us to keep the cost of transport to a minimum, however if a design requires dimensions in excess of these parameters it can be assessed on a job-by-job basis.
Generally, what is your build time for commercial projects?
Build times differ depending on the size and complexity of the project. The small projects can be manufactured and assembled even in 4-6 weeks, for bigger scale it can take around 12-16 weeks.
What is DMDm’s factory capacity for simultaneous construction of multiple modules?
In our factory we can manufacture up to 150 modules (around 2 000 sq.m) - fully furnished - per month.
Does DMD technology meet fire regulations?
The fire protection method is individually selected for each individual project. Within DMD technology, you can protect the structure and walls for 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes, according to the project specification.
What are the thermal properties of DMD objects?
Thermal insulation is individually selected for each single project. Standard parameters offered by DMD are following: for external walls: Umin = 0.16 W / m²K, ground floor: Umin = 0.22 W / m²K, roof: Umin = 0.15 W / m²K
Does DMD employe architects?
We employ interdisciplinary staff, including architects. Next to the Technical, Quality, and Production Departments, there is also the Creative Department responsible for providing architectural and interior design ideas and solutions.
Do I need to have my site specifically prepared?
Usually the site works, including foundation construction is undertaken by the investor but DMDm can also coordinate any site preparation as required.
What is the cost of transportation?
The transportation costs depending of the distance, number of the modules and their parameters. We can easily prepare the calculation after proving those information.
